QS ranking reviews 425 universities from 17 Asian nations. So this is an Asian affairs and used by some Malaysian universities. It uses 10 indicators for the ranking:
1. Academic Reputation
2. Employers Reputation
3. Faculty/ Student ratio
4. Papers per Faculty
5. Citations per paper
6. International Faculty Ration
7. Staff with PhD
8. International Student's Ratio
9. Inbound students exchange
10. Outbound Student's Exchange.
According to the director of QS Research, Malaysian Universities have shown their best performance.
